Powders & Hazel’s philosophy is to slow down. Not an easy task. But let’s take it step by step. Enjoy the little things! For example, by charging in nature. Or, as in my case, be happy with growing an avocado plant. It gives me a smile every day to watch it grow.
All products match this slow living lifestyle. It’s not about much and more. With consciously chosen items you create a home that suits you and where you can relax.

In the webshop you will find items that are handmade with love and passion. The own Powders & Hazel products and a small selection of fine brands that perfectly complement the P&H collection.
Consciously composed, not tied to the volatility of rapidly changing collections and trends.
Nature
The love and attention for nature is reflected in various ways. The collection is made of environmentally friendly, sustainable materials. Recycled paper, seed paper, recycled PET and textiles dyed with natural pigments, so that they do not harm the environment.
Be Social
I also choose for local production as much as possible and work with a social studio that gives people with a distance to the labor market a chance

The perfect me-time moment
I’m Dorine, addicted to coffee. Preferably black, with a strong espresso every now and then. I cannot function without it. And nothing nicer than reading a magazine with a cup of coffee without being disturbed. You pick my cup out quickly. I’m known for always leaving a bit of coffee in my cup.
Casa perto do mar
In 2020 my boyfriend and I bought a 200 year old fisherman’s house in Olhão, Algarve Portugal. So cool to bring back the authentic elements with domes and old walls in their original state. We have now completely renovated the house and of course styled it with Powders & Hazel products. From spring 2022 it’s ready to receive guests
Bit chaotic
Always wanting to do 10 things at once, losing things and sometimes jumping from one thing to another… I’m afraid that I can be quite chaotic. But they sometimes say that chaotic people are fun and creative, so I’ll stick to that 😉
