Casa perto do Mar is a former fisherman's cottage that has been renovated into a modern townhouse and has a touch of Powders & Hazel.
The townhouse is located in the center of Olhão, so that both the boulevard and the ferry are within walking distance.
Known as the capital of the Ria Formosa, the coastal town of Olhão is the perfect starting point to explore this enchanting natural park and its picturesque islands. Olhão is surrounded by islands with beautiful white beaches without the usual mass tourism that the Algarve is known for. Soulful Olhão is a city of many faces and lively all year round. You will find the market halls along the waterfront; these are a 'must' visit due to the wide variety of very fresh fish and seafood straight from the harbor and an extensive range of locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables. The market halls are surrounded by outdoor cafes and it is a great place to sit and enjoy the view of the boats with jazz music playing in the background from the local cafe.

As soon as you enter the house you will be surprised by the authentic elements of the house. These immediately create a pleasant atmosphere.
The townhouse is suitable for 4-6 people and has 2 floors, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a sofa bed.
In the morning, the sunlight enters wonderfully on the terrace on the first floor. From the patio a staircase leads to the roof terrace where there is a jacuzzi with a lounge set. From the roof terrace you have a beautiful view over the rooftops of Olhão.

Bed linen and bath towels are provided, as well as international TV channels including Netflix and free wifi. The house is equipped with air conditioning for hot summer days and heating for cool winter evenings. Around Casa Perto do Mar you can usually park your car in the surrounding streets. However, due to the central location of the house, a car is not necessary for a pleasant stay.
